With decades of experience in broadcasting Vince leads the team to ensure that community voices are heard, community issues are raised and community projects and initiative supported. Vince is passionate about Aboriginal culture, land and people. He has made a life-long commitment to protecting and preserving our cultures our languages and striving for better outcomes for Aboriginal people. Vince is the recipient of three NAIDOC awards including the National Lifetime achievement award. He received the Premiers NAIDOC awards, the Federation medal and the Slim Dusty Mateship award. Vince’s leadership ensures that Umeewarra Media is involved in the community at all levels. Vince is a loyal Crows supporter.</p>

			<p>Samantha Lee is a Senior broadcaster at Umeewarra, Samantha is a proud Nukunu and Indian woman born in Adelaide and grew up in Port Augusta. Sam has been at Umewarra since 2002 presenting the afternoon request show, the culture show and others. Samantha has recorded hundreds of interviews with community members. Samantha has broadcast live with the Umeewarra Outside Broadcast Van from the Spirit Festival, Tananthi Festival, Desert Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, numerous NAIDOC events and community events across the state. Samantha has an eclectic taste in music but is partial to pop and you will catch her from Monday to Friday on the Breakfast show. Samathanha is a fierce Power fan.</p>

			<p>Dre Ngatokorua is of Wangkangurru, Adnyamathnha, Kuyani, Luridja, Deiri, Yankunytjatara, Cook Island and Maori decent.</p>
<p>Dre is a broadcaster at Umeewarra media and aspiring DJ, he is the youngest member of the team and the host of the Straight Out Show. Dre started as a trainee in 2013 while he was at school as a volunteer and has rocked the studio ever since. His shows give focus to youth issues and voice to young people in the Port Augusta community. The Straight Out show was the proud organiser of Port Augusta&#8217;s first ever NAIDOC Colour run. Dre brings a younger focus to the team through his music selection and topic he covers &#8211; encouraging other young people to have a voice. Dre works across all the media fields at Umeewarra covering visual, audio, online, off site and live media. Dre backs the Freo Dockers.</p>

			<p>Gayle is the Station Producer at Umeewarra. She has been production community radio for 15 years. She has maintained a strong focus on community involvement at all level in the radio station. Umeewarra does more than broadcast quality radio it is involved in events, festivals, training and community empowerment programs which Gayle has initiated much of Umeewarra’s role in. Gayle has supported young Aboriginal people to find their neshe in community media and take it to the world. Gayle has been awarded the NAIDOC Non Aboriginal person of the year award. Gayle encourage creative vision in the community and juggles a range of issues from the technical to the political. Gayle has fostered a number of sponsors at Umeewarra and is a key part of the team to ensure we are on air 24-7.</p>
