Umeewarra Media's Radio call sign is 5UMA 89.1 FM. the main studios are in Port Augusta South Australia. The main transmitter is on Mount Brown in the Flinders Ranges overlooking the Northern Spencer Gulf.

Our signal is received in Port Augusta, Stirling North, Quorn, Hawker, Port Germein, Port Pirie and Whyalla.

Broadcasting

5UMA Broadcasts a local service 12 hours per day starting at 7.00am, Monday to Friday and CAAMA at other times and so provides a service 24 hours a day seven days a week. This includes two hours a week over the National Indigenous Radio Service and a one hour special which goes to air on CAAMA Radio in Alice Springs.

News

We broadcast the National Indigenous Radio News on the hour. This service is produced to inform not only Aboriginal but also non-Aboriginal listeners on issues affecting Indigenous people around the nation.
